Creating a database

We created various incentives for customers to join the Sway Manor mailing list including competitions, special offers, events and sample content. These have been broadcast by their website, press ads, local shows and events and by front of house staff at point of sale. Discount vouchers with email newsletter opt-ins have also been collected. As the list has grown, the sales have increased and the cost per email has reduced. The price of one mini-break sold now covers the cost of the whole campaign.


Campaigns are created by us to effectively position the emails and to give them a visual edge over their competitors; and because we do all the Sway Manor marketing we are able to re-use content, graphics, copy and images across their entire marketing spread so that every penny of their budget is well spent and their branding and offerings are reinforced.


We clean the email list to maximise deliverability and split test campaigns on a small percentage of email addresses prior to broadcasting in order to maximise opening rates. Each campaign is analysed for sales results, link clicking, bounces and opening rates so that we can see who’s responding to which offers. Then we hit SEND.
